Speaking in hours? I am planning on buying a sailboat used,
and see the hours listed on the diesel engine but really don’t know what is considered a lot of use or little ? am I looking at replacement after 5000 hrs?

I have to close my vents whenever I’m behind one of you, knowing that if I don’t I will soon get a car full of foul stinking diesel exhaust. Why don’t you trade that thing in? Why aren’t they illegal?

On a VW golf 1.9 TDi. I wanted to know how long would it take for the diesel engine to warm up and be good to drive. I’ve heard it could take about 10 mins for the temp level to hit the middle mark.

Besides be a diesel mechanic. Do you design engines or what? I’m not sure what this degree does, but what I do know is that not alot of people bother to get it, most just stop at the 2 year degree.

Details: Dodge Cummins 4×4 dually tractor pulling truck, super modified for 1,600 Hp and who knows how much torque (maybe 3,000 Lb ft) -Vs- Big Rig diesel (bobtail) stock with 550 Hp and super low end torque (maybe 1,500 Lb ft)
Both trucks are in low gear.

Hi I have some diesel fuel for life kind and im not sure how much to spray on that I can be smelt like all day lol. I am in high school and im just wondering i have been doing 2 sprays but it has been kinda wearing off quickly so im just wondering.

The other day my dad said at home that at the gas station they accidentally put a little gasoline instead of diesel fuel and he also said that it was good that the one responsible found out early and told him. BUT i didn’t understand what could have happen if they put gasoline in [...]
