I have had the PRS SE PA for about a year and was thinking about changing out it’s stock pickups.
It currently has PRS-designed Paul Allender treble and bass humbucking pickups. I was thinking about changing them out for some Seymour Duncans or Dimarzios. Just tell if you thinks i should change them out and if so, to what pickups.
ALSO… I play a lot of death metal so if you could suggest pickups good for Death MEtal.

Alber Elbaz credits the women, who regularly visit his boutique, as being his muses for the Fall 2008 collection. The designer also draws inspiration from his mother who recently passed away. From skirts to blouses to dresses, Elbaz shows true craftsmanship injecting many pieces with pleats. There is even a pleated fur coat! The idea of lines, both vertical and horizontal (think: bold striped dress) is a big theme. It’s almost as if he made pieces from a single thread that continually wrapped around the body. The collection’s color palette was muted and dark, lots of black and pale grey with shots of red and navy. Pants were not as prominent on the runway though the skinny silhouette seems to still reign supreme.

I’m crazy about fashion. Two days ago I was recommended to visit loveandchic.com. But the prices I saw there really shocked me! D&G shoes 08 for 105 euro, D&G T-shirt for 34 euro, Dsquared Leather Jacket for 400 euro. Underwear for 8-9 euro!! I think it’s too cheap for such things!!!
Please, tell me if this shop offers fakes or originals.

Brioni Harris speech (part 2) – There’s No Place Like Home

On May 7, 2010, First Place for Youth held the 12th Annual Theres No Place Like Home gala to benefit vulnerable foster youth. The most poignant moment of the evening was the keynote speech delivered by Brioni Harris, a First Place for Youth program alumni. Brioni told her powerful story of surviving abuse as a baby and then later while in foster care. She also recounts how First Place’s programs have helped her make a successful transition to adulthood. Hosted by KTVU’s Heather Holmes, the event at the Westin St. Francis Hotel in San Francisco raised over $215000 to benefit youth aging out of foster care. First Place for Youth is a Bay Area based nonprofit organization whose programs proactivley challenge the trends among former foster youth by building self-esteem, self reliance, and forging the skills necessary for successful independent living. Focusing on housing stability, educational support, economic security, improved health, and connection to community, First Place programs are considered a national model for supporting youth in their transition out of foster care.
