how long in advance should i tell people about my new years eve/sweet sixteen party?

alright, so im turning sixteen and my birthday is on new year’s so they’re kinda combined.
im planning on giving out the invites on the last day of school before winter break. which is like dec 20? around there.
do you think that’s good timing?
