I just bought brand new Ugg boots and sprayed them with weather proofer, but then got caught in a down pour. They were a gorgeous soft mahogany suede and are now crispy and a horrbile sandy colour. I will never wear them again like this but wondered if it is possible to restore suede back [...]

When your clothing tears do you have it repaired or do you disgard it?

I understand that there is a resurgence in hand crafted goods and I wonder if that includes having clothing mended? Do you mend your own clothing or do you pay someone to do it for you? Or do you dispose of it by donating to charity or tossing into trash?

I bought a pair of Prada aviators at Neiman Marcus and one of the hinge screws fell out this week. Will Prada repair them or am I “screwed”?

I recieved a Fendi purse from my sister a couple of years ago and I love it , but because of wearing it everyday the strap has broken. I live in Chicago, where can I take my purse to get repaired and not pay an arm and a leg for it?
