A very polished version by the legendary crooner with the iconic voice. Who are the 7 deaf & mute viewers that “dislikes” this version??

@helmetsgirl1 Thank you, and your husband for your love for our nation and the sacrifices you’ve both made. May God bless & protect you until you and your husband meet again in His glorious presence. There’s got to be a special Place in heaven for those who fight for freedom and those love them.

@JORGEPSOUSA911 It’s too commercialized :( I would’ve loved to hear this song at work.. instead I was tortured to death, mostly by Jackson 5 Santa Clause Coming to Town :(

Now that I’ve heard this, it’s officially Christmas. Merry Christmas, everyone, and may helmetsgirl1 have all the blessings in the world.

  8. JORGEPSOUSA911 says:

At work, I heard all kinds of Christmas songs relating to Rudolph, Frosty, Santa. But I didn’t hear one song about the birth of Christ! Why?

@takingitadayatatime Thank you so much for your reply, yes indeed.. this time of year can be so very painful, but like you said, we have to move on. I was so sad to hear about your loss, its at times like this we realise we are not alone. We needn’t forget because that’s not what its about.. so, like you said, we are quiet, we sit and think, and try and remember the good times. Wishing you and yours a very Happy Christmas xxx

  18. takingitadayatatime says:

@puresweetness19 I understand completely. My mother died on Christmas day and her mother, my grandmother’s birthday is Christmas. My brother’s birthday is the day after Christmas. They are all gone now and this time of year used to be so sad for me. I have learned to move on from the sadness and now I have replaced that with reflection. I am a lot quieter during this time of year but I now get a tree and decorate the house and make sure I shower my grown children with gifts and love.

How could anyone dislike any songs sung by Nat King Cole?

  21. beewhyzable says:

@helmetsgirl1 I just happened on your posting. I can’t tell you how sorry I am to hear of your loss. I guess it’s symbolic to me of all the family members our fallen service men at this time of year. I hope it helps, in some way, to know that there are people all over the world who read your post and say a prayer for you and your family. That’s exactly what I’m doing now. God love you and keep you and I hope that time softens the hurt that your loss has brought you.

@twowaystreet101 Thank you so much for your comment. If I had been asked when I posted the comment if I was okay I would have said yes. Not feeling so good now. but I have the strength to know that life goes on. I ought to stop loging onto youtube to watch/listen to this carol but I cant help myself. We cling to memories…
